John Held started in the construction industry in 1974. He earned a degree in Finance at Florida Atlantic University and incorporated Builders Plus, Inc. in February 1988. His expertise in tilt-up construction has guided the company to phenomenal growth; Builders Plus has established itself as one of South Florida’s eminent tilt-up contractors under his leadership.

Mr. Held oversees all jobs from bid through completion. He is experienced in all facets of construction from conception to project closeout. His knowledge and experience in strategic planning provide practical perspectives that result in unique benefits to clients.

Jon Cipyak earned his degree from Florida Atlantic University and held several accounting and financial management positions before joining Builders Plus in 1997. As Vice President of Builders Plus, Mr. Cipyak has executive responsibility for firm operations. He acts on behalf of Builders Plus for contractual instruments, sub-contracting agreements, bonding, and all financial matters.

Mr. Cipyak is involved in all project aspects to personally ensure client satisfaction with each project. His diverse experience provides valuable insight for integrating management, accounting, and human resource plans. He is a key factor in the continued strategic development and current operations management of the company.

German A. Suarez has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, and is an expert consultant for Tilt-Up construction, particularly, assisting architects and engineers in the design process and offering clients value engineering ideas. He earned his degree in Architecture from the prestigious Javeriana University in Bogota, Colombia. Soon after he became a successful owner of a development company with many projects around his home country.

Since joining Builders Plus in 2006, he has been able to use his expertise and has become an invaluable asset to the company, with duties that include: estimating, coordination of panels’ shop drawings and specialty engineering, construction planning and technical support to all field employees. Mr. Suarez makes sure all our projects run smoothly and works hard to ensure quality results for our customers.
